What is the lowest grid position to win a F1 race?
The formula 1 analysis section provides different basic F1 statistics. This view shows F1 wins from furthest back based on qualifying position. The top chart shows the overall places gained or lost for the top 5 positions. Next is an overview of all places gained in a F1 race. And finally the list of most places gained by F1 drivers period. The largest gap between qualifying and the race for drivers can be adjusted for any finishing position in the GP.

- A sankey diagram showing the relation for all results ever between qualifying and the race. It is limited to the top 5 with one category capturing all other positions. You can hover over the graph the see how many drivers went from a specific qualifying position to a race position.
- The piechart below shows (based on the selected position) the distribution of all qualifying positions to the race position.
- Finally, the drivers are ranked on the highest delta between their qualifying position (based on the grid) and the eventual race result (based on the selected position). The table only shows deltas higher or equal to 5 positions gained with a maximum of 1000 results.
