Explanation
This page shows the teammate battles for the selected season. It only contains comparisons between drivers of the same team / constructor. If a driver competed for multiple teams in a single season, these battles are listed seperately.

There are three parts to each comparison:
  • The spider web chart, which shows the overview of the entire season performance for both drivers. This is on an individual level, not necessarily only in GP where both teammates competed.
  • The teammate season graphs, which provide a comparison on several key statsistics for both teammates for the season. Again on an individual basis.
  • The stat vs teammate table, which provides further details, some stats are specific to only grand prix where both teammates competed.

The overall season performance spiderweb chart
All axis in the spider web are transformed to be on the same scale (from 0 to 10). The specific dimension is than plotted based on the scale.
  • Points (vs best driver): total points achieved by driver in the whole season, compared to the driver with the most points in this season (for the selected PSS). The range is from highest points to zero.
  • Points (vs max possible): total points achieved by driver in season, compared to the maximum available points for the grandprix a driver competed in (for the selected PSS). The range is from maximum points to zero.
  • Average race results (all): The average race position in all GP (in which a driver started the GP). The range is from 1 to number of drivers in season.
  • Average race results (classified only): The average race position in all GP (in which a driver started the GP) and was classified in the result. The range is from 1 to number of drivers in season.
  • Average grid position: The average grid position in all GP (in which a driver started the GP). The range is from 1 to number of drivers in season.
  • Laps completed: The laps completed by a driver (in which a driver started the GP) compared to the total laps of the GP. The range is (for each driver) from total possible laps to zero.

The teammate season graphs
The title of the graph displays in how many grand prix both drivers competed together.
  • Graph 1: head-to-head points achieved in season.
  • Graph 2: head-to-head position throughout season.
  • Graph 3: head-to-head race position per grand prix in season.
  • Graph 4: head-to-head qualifying position achieved in season. Note: the data is based on the starting grid.

The stat vs teammate table
The table below each graph contains detailed information of the head-to-head teambattles:
  • Row 1: end position achieved in season.
  • Row 2: total points achieved in season based on GPs where both teammates competed.
  • Row 3: times better in GP shows the finishing race position in all GPs where both teammates competed.
  • Row 4: total wins in season.
  • Row 5: total podiums in season.
  • Row 6: times better in quali shows the qualification position in all GPs where both teammates competed. Note: the data is based on the starting grid.
  • Row 7: total pole positions in season.

Only teammate battles are shown for drivers with 3 or more GP in the season in total. Note: this does not necessarily mean this condition holds for a specific teammate battle to be shown (for instance if driver A competed once with driver X and two times with driver Y, both comparisons are shown). The sequence of the list is based on constructor standing first (so best constructor first) and after that based driver standing in the selected season.

You can use the 'jump'-links to easily jump to a specific driver and back to the top.
