Fantasy 2022 Season

The season started with a one-two for Ferrari in Bahrain, with Leclerc ahead of Norris and Russell, while both Red Bulls retired due to reliability issues. Magnussen surprisingly finished fifth on his return, with Shwartzman seventh on his debut.

Red Bull dominated in Saudi Arabia ahead of Norris, while Leclerc finished only sixth due to a driving error.

Red Bull sealed the front row in Australia, but Norris managed to overtake Sainz at the start. Halfway through the race Verstappen's engine exploded, allowing Lando to win the race. Hamilton and Alonso finished just behind the podium, while the Mercedes were too slow to score points.

At Imola Red Bull easily scored another one-two, while McLaren were very competitive, allowing Hamilton and Piastri to finish third and fourth. The two Ferrari drivers collided during the first laps.

Mercedes brought some big updates in Miami, so Russell won the race ahead of Verstappen, while Gasly moved up from sixth to third place. Both Sainz and Hamilton retired with reliability issues.

Sainz won his home Grand Prix in Spain, ahead of his teammate and Leclerc. Piastri collided with Hamilton causing both of them to retire.

Sainz's positive streak continued in Monaco, while Leclerc crashed trying to attack Verstappen for second place.

A brilliant Gasly managed to win in Azerbaijan ahead of Leclerc and Sainz. Hamilton was unable to start with a power unit failure, while Russell had to come back from the back of the grid to sixth.

Verstappen won in Canada thanks to reliability issues in Norris' car while he was first. Alpine upgrades allowed Alonso to finish on the podium, while Ocon had an accident with Hamilton.

Sainz dominated the Silverstone weekend in front of his teammate. Both the two Ferrari drivers and Gasly retired due to reliability issues. So Hamilton finished third ahead of the two Haas.

The two Ferrari drivers and Verstappen started from the back of the grid in Austria. Sainz crashed into Hamilton at the start, so Ocon led the race until Norris overtook him in the final laps, putting him in second. Leclerc managed to grab the podium.

A big crash at the start caused the top five drivers to retire in France. Alpine was about to score a one-two when both their engines blew within a few laps. Vettel finally returned to victory ahead of Magnussen and Ilott, who achieved his first podium in Formula One.

Red Bull returned to conquer a one-two in Hungary with Verstappen ahead of Sainz and Russell.

An uncompetitive Red Bull and a bad strategy on Norris allowed Leclerc to win easily in Belgium ahead of Alonso and Piastri, who obtained his maiden podium.

Verstappen started second at his home Grand Prix, but hit poleman Leclerc's car causing Leclerc to retire, while Max finished ninth with the damaged car. McLaren and Hamilton won for the first time of the season, with Norris and Gasly on the podium.

Norris won in Italy ahead of the two Red Bulls, while Leclerc finished fourth due to a slow pit stop.

Mercedes surprisingly scored a one-two in Singapore, while Sainz closed the gap to Verstappen in the championship by finishing third.

Verstappen won again in Japan, in another one-two for Red Bull. Gasly achieved the second consecutive podium.

Leclerc won in the USA ahead of Russell and Norris, while Verstappen crashed by himself.

Sainz won in Mexico ahead of Verstappen, reopening the fight for the title. Both slow Ferraris were lapped, finishing behind the McLarens.

Gasly and Russell scored another one-two for Mercedes in Brazil, ahead of Verstappen and Sainz. Leclerc had another crash with Norris, who got worse by retiring.

Verstappen won the Abu Dhabi race ahead of Sainz, becoming World Champion. Norris beat Leclerc for third place, both in the race and in the championship.
