Bio
Kimi Räikkönen is a Finnish racing driver who is widely regarded as one of the greatest drivers in the history of Formula 1. He has won one World Championship during his career and is one of the most successful drivers of his generation.Raikkonen began his racing career at a young age, competing in karting events from the age of ten. He quickly rose through the ranks of motorsport, competing in various junior categories and winning numerous championships along the way. In 2001, he made his Formula 1 debut with the Sauber team. After a stint with McLaren from 2002 to 2006, he joined Ferrari in 2007 winning the driver championship on his debut for the team.
After a small hiatus in 2010 and 2011 he returned to F1 with team Lotus and later joined with Ferrari again in 2014. He finished his career at Alfa Romeo. Kimi is one of the drivers with the longest careers in F1 both in terms of seasons and races.
Throughout his time in Formula 1, Raikkonen has consistently delivered strong performances and finished on the podium. He has competed against some of the sport's all-time greats, including multiple-time World Champions such as Michael Schumacher, Lewis Hamilton, and Sebastian Vettel. He has also faced off against other top drivers such as Fernando Alonso, Jenson Button, and Mark Webber.
In his personal life, Raikkonen is married and has two children. He is known to be a private person and has a reputation for being reserved and enigmatic. Despite this, he is widely respected and admired by his peers and fans for his talent and dedication to his craft.
